Removing Henna and Chlorine Greening

Q; What removes henna residue or green tinge from chlorine?

Longhairs recommends this to remove chlorine deposits that have caused
discolouration in long hair. It is a preventive measure also. Use after
swimming.

In your product list from Longhairs, you will see some #2 Balance or Superclear
Shampoo; you'll need this and our 10-B conditioner for afterwards.

Louise Marie Longhairs Remedy For Henna removal and as an After-Chlorine Anti-Green Stuff :-) (for
use after your swims only if you notice green tinging.)

For 1 Mid-Length application. Double or triple it if you need. In a
non-metallic bowl mix:

1 teaspoon Longhairs #2 Longhairs Balance Superclear Shampoo, 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
and 2 Tablespoons Baking soda.

Mix with plastic or wooden utensil (chopsticks work really well for mixing).

Apply to hair using hands to coat entire hair area, then massage into hair
thoroughly. Then cover with a plastic showercap for 30- minutes.... make sure
you get the ends well in the cap.

Rinse well. repeat as often as needed. Then do a couple of latherings of our shampoo from the Longhairs Product Collection. Follow with 3 minutes or more #10-B or #9 Trees generously applied.


If hennaed hair is naturally blonde or light and is left with a slight
bit of stubborn residual stain/appearance of red... this last bit of
colour will fade with time using our #2 Balance shampoo now that the
hennas coating is removed. 
Do NOT apply any colouring of any sort for 1 month...

Important... Always wet your hair and put #19 OR  a #10-B Protein
conditioner in before putting your swimcap on, before swimming.
